Our skid plate is fully frame mounted thanks to a specially designed bracket that supports both the skid plate and the crash bars. The water pump guard does not only protect the water pump from drops and tip overs, it also protects it from trailside objects such as rocks, stumps, and logs, by deflecting them out of your path.
